Why creating a Pranas account matters

Pranas is your brand's command center for AI Search Visibility — measuring, monitoring, and improving how your brand shows up across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and other generative engines. Your account is what binds your brands, prompts, AI Scans, perception analyses, sources, and credits to one secure workspace. Everything you do in Pranas — from your first scan to long-term trend reports — lives under your account, scoped to you and any teammates you invite later.

Creating an account also unlocks the free trial, which is designed to let you run a real, end-to-end visibility analysis on one of your own brands before you ever pay. There's no credit card required to start, and your trial credits are enough to run a first AI Scan across multiple models on a meaningful prompt set.

Step-by-step: Sign up

Open pranas.co in your browser.
Click Start Free Trial (top-right of the landing page or in the hero).
Choose your signup method:
- Continue with Google — fastest path. Pranas uses Google OAuth; we never see your password. You'll land in the dashboard immediately.
- Email + password — enter your work email and a strong password (8+ characters, mix of letters, numbers, and symbols recommended).
If you signed up with email, watch your inbox for a verification email from noreply@pranas.co. Open it and click Verify email. The link expires in 24 hours.
After verification (or immediately, for Google sign-ins) you land on the Dashboard with the URL onboarding hero ready for your first brand.

Worked example

Maya, a marketing lead at a B2B SaaS company, wants to know whether ChatGPT recommends her product when prospects ask "best customer-feedback tool". She visits pranas.co, clicks Start Free Trial, signs in with her Google work account, and is in the dashboard within 15 seconds. She pastes her company's homepage URL into the URL onboarding box, and Pranas auto-fills her brand name, positioning, and three suggested competitors. Total time from landing page to first brand created: under 2 minutes.

Why we ask you to verify your email

Email verification protects your account from impersonation and ensures we can reach you for billing receipts, scan completion notifications, and security alerts. Until your email is verified, scan execution is blocked — this is intentional and prevents abuse of the credit system.

If you don't see the verification email:

Check Spam / Promotions folders.
Confirm you typed the email correctly during signup. If it was wrong, sign up again with the correct address.
Click Resend verification email on the login screen.
Add noreply@pranas.co to your safe senders list, especially for @gmail.com and @outlook.com addresses.

Trial credits do not expire during your trial window, but unused credits don't roll over once you upgrade to a paid plan.

Edge cases & gotchas

Single Sign-On (Google): Once you sign up with Google, you must keep signing in with Google — we don't merge a Google identity with a separate email/password identity for the same address. If you need to switch, contact support.
Corporate email blocking: Some corporate IT setups block transactional email from new domains. If verification never arrives, ask IT to whitelist pranas.co.
Multiple accounts on one email: We enforce one account per verified email address. If you previously started signup but never verified, signing up again with the same email will resume the original account.
Password strength: We don't enforce a strict policy at signup, but we do check passwords against known breach lists. A leaked password will be rejected.
